The Magical Day Wins First Place at the 18th Annual International Latino Book Awards!

On September 8th, Author Sandra Elaine Scott’s most recent book The Magical Day won 1st place in the category of “Most Inspirational Youth Chapter Book” at the 18th Annual International Latino Book Awards. The awards celebrate the best in Children, Young Adults, Fiction and Non-Fiction books written in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The Awards are produced by Latino Literacy Now, an organization co-founded in 1996 by actor Edward James Olmos to improve literacy throughout the Latino community.
